Did I forget to mention, I am a dress-a-holic? And Anthropologie always satisfies my appetite for unique, girly frocks. Though I must confess that lately I've been living in a t-shirt and jeans (although I am NOT a t-shirt and jeans type of girl) because that becomes your uniform when you have to chase after a 17 month old baby boy all day.

Changing Stripes Dress: It has a vintage looking linen blend fabric, a notched foldover bustline, and my favorite part is the unexpected buttons going up the back.

Scalloped Stripes Dress: I love the scalloped stripes. Having such a flattering yet simple shape, this dress begs for accessories.

Arched Careena Dress: This has a beautiful deep blue hue, with girly ruffles, and a notched collar. Being 100% silk, it hangs and flows beautifully

Hydrangea Lace Dress: This was a little high waisted but I made a belt with a matching cornflower blue color to define the waist.

Time Flies!

I can't believe it has been a year since I welcomed this precious little one into my life. I love his birthday outfit--reminds me of Mr. Fredrickson from the movie Up! We celebrated at Chuck E Cheese's with the family and also took the little one to the zoo.

New Hobby

Taking care of a baby is a lot of work. Despite all this, I have been revisiting an old hobby of mine--sewing! I recently made two dresses. One in a bright pink cotton and the other in a deep red wine wool. I am so excited to wear when the weather permits. I shall post pics soon!

Soup

My dermatologist visit was uneventful yesterday. Dr. Tran basically reiterated everything he had already told me during my previous visit. I was just glad he didn't diagnose me with a different skin problem haha.

I came down with a cold yesterday. My main concern is that I do not get my little guy sick. I've been wearing a surgical mask which he loves to pull at. You see, he loves playing peek-a-boo haha.

I decided I needed to drink some soup to cure my cold--an old adage. Instead of the regular chicken soup, I am cooking xiao long bao--soup dumplings.

I guess there are some advantages to being sick :)

Molloscum Contagiosum

I have a follow up appointment with my dermatologist today regarding some papules around my eye. I first noticed these papules last October or November. Turns out it is Molloscum Contagiosum, a very contagious virus that creates papules on your skin. I think I got sick during a trip with some friends last September to Las Vegas when we all swam in the pool and used those public towels. I will always remember to bring my own towel from now on!

Hello!

Today is the conception of my blog.

I was recently blessed with a bouncing (literally...bouncing all the time--a good workout for my arms haha) baby boy and am now a stay-at-home mom. I hope to document his growth, along with the details of my daily life, and my on-going love affair with fashion. By the way...lavender is my favorite color!
